Given the chance to go back in time to give myself some advice I would start by saying ?Sandra?sit down and get comfortable ?cause you?re in for a long lecture!? After getting comfortable, of course, I would go on to give myself the following instructions: Please make sure you always study thoroughly before your exams. It is not enough to wait until the night before to study; in fact, cramming material is about the worst thing you can do. Trying to stuff months of material in a night will make a blood vessel in your brain pop! It is also extremely important to finish your assignments on time. Try to finish your assignments even a few days earlier if possible- trust me, this will save you a whole-lotta stressing. Above all, be as sociable as you can. College is about more than just getting straight A?s. College is also about doing things you didn?t do before, joining clubs that interest you and making friends that will last you a life time. So if anything, take advantage of the resources your school has to offer and do so with as much fun as you possible.
My program is not flexible and we don't have a central gathering area where we can just hang out.
NYU is a place filled with endless opportunities, but requires its students to work hard in order to sieze them.
Hunter College is located in Manhattan, which is one of busiest cities in the world. This leads to many other consequences. Being that its busiest, its very loud. If a person does not like being about so many people, I would say this college is not for him/her. Here, everyone runs on a tight schedule with very less time for socialization. If a person loves to drive to school and not use public transportation, then this could hold them back too since its pretty hard to get around with a car.
Someone that is not dedicated to their studies.
the fact that it is beautifully located in new york city and the amount of pretty girls there are among student activities and clubs
I'm still looking for a College.
the school that im currently attendign is best known for its profoundly diverse majors and curriculem. My school has students that come from all over the world and has been ranked top three colleges that are affordable in the country in 2008
The students because they are dull and stupid.
My classmates are unacademic.
After graduation from high school, everyone dreams about going to college. Just like everyone else, I did too. I consisderd myself very fortuante to be able to attend a college like Hunter College, which was founded in 1870. It is one of the oldest colleges in the country, which lies in Manhattan, everyone's dream location to visit one day. Hunter College offeres more than 170 programs to their students. Undoubtedly, it is as diverse as New York City. Coming to the staff, it is very caring and concered about a student's needs and always look forwad to help.
How much my life would change.
