I have a positive opinion on Spartanburg Methodist college. i am excited to go there and be part of the family. I have a sibling who goes there and has loved it. The faculty is super nice and caring. They try their best to help you financially and they are always one to one conversations and those are the best.
This college takes your money and does not provide the instructions you pay for! Teachers stopped classes after 30 to 40 min or sooner and told students to watch links on the internet. Struggling students had no chances to get help as teaches avoided class interaction! Paid for campus activities while being an online student refusing to undergo weekly covid 19 testing. No activities for online students, social isolation and uncaring staff at this college. Only money hungry office staff at this college! Worst college ever went to! Just bad and non caring teachers who can't teach online and avoid student interactions. Teacher never bothered to stay in zoom call lesson for more than 30 min at a time, when normal lessons are 50 min to over an hour! Did not check on students as they used to and charged for full tuition but received part time. Learning on your own experience only!
The college is great academic wise and most of the professors are usually supportive and always easily accessible. They do have several activities going on, but they don't always get the imformation to you in a timely manner. On-housing campus isn't all that it's hyped up to be and can be quite costly. The food isn't great, especially after the first week after classes have started and you'll get tired of eating the same thing over and over everyday. If you have a car, you can easily just drive down the road to find several affordable restaurants nearby.
Spartanburg Methodist College is great school! I was doubtful at first since it was a small private college, but it turned out to be pretty amazing. The school size is small, but I really like that because you can really get to know people on a more intimate level versus a very large school. The faculty and staff are very helpful and they take your opinions into consideration. The class size is a typical size with less than 25 people. But it really depends on what kind of class you're taking. But I highly recommend this college! It's a great place to start!
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Spartanburg Methodist College is 65%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
I am a non-traditional student who unlike most of my fellow classmates, have a little bit of "real world" knowledge. If I could go back in time, I do not believe I would speak to myself. By having a conversation with myself, what might I affect? Would my life be different from what it is now? I am not unlike most people when I think to myself and wonder what I would like to have better in my life but in doing so, one must take stock on what is good and be appreciative. In speaking to myself in the past, I could make my present state of affairs less desirable. I believe on playing the hand I have been dealt because the next hand could be worse.
I believe only students who understand that college life is different from high school should attend SMC. It takes hard work and dedication to fulfill all of a students aspirations. For any student who is considering SMC as their college, this is not a time to "party" but to gain skills and information that will help you in your college career, and through your career path.
my school is best known for helping students and getting to know their students and not treating them as just a number at the college.
The best thing about my college is the proffessers. I have come to enjoy thier company very much. Mrs Famer I must say is my role model and helps me even though I do not have her class anymore. Theres Mr. Aylor who is my KSA leader who cares so much about the communtiy that its very uplifeing to be around. He's aslo extreamly funny. Mr. Gibson is the math teacher and no matter what he's the type that will walk you step by step through all the problems when you need it. Basiclly I love them all!
That I could get behind in my major by coming to the school.
