I talk to my friends about the people that attend my college. It's the kind of place where you can walk into a room full of strangers and walk out with at least a handful of new friends to hang out with. I wasn't comfortable in my own skin when I first arrived, and somehow before I knew it I was a completely different person. Springfield inspired me to dig deep and really get to know people and understand why they are how they are; it's a beautiful feeling to be accepted and accept others.
I brag about the amazing facilities that Springfield has to offer and all the activities they offer. There are so many ways to get involved. Also, Springfield College is all about community and giving so the main focus of the school is what you can do for others and how we can become closer as a school.
Springfield College is full of the most friendly and comfortable people you will ever meet. We can wear anything we want, sweatpants and a sweatshirt, and no one cares. There is no pressure here to be someone you are not and everyone is accepting and friendly no matter who you are. Our school full of people who have the same interests, we love watching sports and hanging out with each other, this atmosphere you don't find school wide at many school. Even alumni around society are so exciteted if you run into them.
This college's pride is by far the most awe-inspiring school spirit I have ever witnessed or encountered. A reflection of this spirit is the fact that the school is called "The Springfield College Pride." The motto is "Pride in Achievement" and I seldom meet a person on campus who is not involved in extracurricular activities; on this campus extracurricular activities are called cocurricular activities because their importance is stressed so much. Never have I ever talked to a student or alumnist who disliked the college. Everyone I talk to brags about this school nonstop. it's truly amazing.
That we are the birthplace of basketball.
When i tell my friend about my school i mostly brag about the great friends I have made. A lot of my other friends have had trouble fitting in and finding a group of friends they really get along with, but since I have been at Springfield College I have found a great group of friends and feel at home.
