Before I entered this school I knew pretty much everything I needed to know but if there was one thing that I could have known before I went was where everything was in the school. Such has they don't give you a tour of the school to help you through the campus. Even though it is a community college it is a little over whelming to find things all on your own.
I wish that I knew how hard the math courses were before I attented St. Charles Community College. This school is one of the hardest places to take math.
I wish I would of known how to setup all the computer aspects of schooling before I came to my school. Being a first time student at this school, it is hard trying to figure out how to use all the wizards. Once I start understanding all the aspects it will be easier on me but for now it is not.
In highschool I thought I wanted to be a teacher. I had no one to look up to or guide me to figure out how to apply for colleges, scholarships or to give me any tips. The one thing I wish I would have known before I came to this school is I should have got more experience in different fields. I now do not know what I want to major in but I know it is not education. I am taking general education until I decide.
I wish I have known that this school offered so much. I had no idea the amount of programs offered, non-educational, and no idea that they were available to me until after attending two semesters.
