Greek life on campus is very dynamic. There are over 60 Greek organizations to be exact. They include: cultural, academic, social and professional orgs. Some of these organizations pride themselves with encompassing all of these traits. For instance, I am a part of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. We are initially a cultural organization, however, we pride ourselves with being professionals who earn high academic scores and dominate the social scene.

Saint John's is big on Greek life. There is the African and Latino Fraternal /Sororal Alliance (ALFSA) which is composed of 14 Black and Latino fraternities and sororities, the Interfraternity Councill (IFC) which is the governing body of 13 fraternities, and the Panhellenic Council which is the governing body of 9 sororities.
