Where is the best place to get work done on campus?

The D'Angelo Center in my opinion is the best place to get work done on campus. It's not too loud or too quite.

There are multiple university centers and common areas to get work done. Besides just having common areas and lounges in the dorms, which are sometimes not as quiet as you'd like them to be, there is a large library that is open 24/7 during midterm and finals week as well as the D'Angelo Center. The D'Angelo Center is a student center that houses classrooms, study areas, computer area, offices, a dining hall and Starbucks. This is the most popular space to hang out with friends and get work done and is always crowded - especially during exam weeks. You can also often find people napping on the comfortable couches after frying their brains from all the studying. It has a variety of purposes and all of them are useful to the student body.

The library, or the D'Angelo center.

The best place to get work done is the library. This sounds so cliche, but it is so true. There is a cafe on the first floor and then also a quiet room right next door to the cafe. That room is only for quiet reading and studying. Then, upstairs, there are the books and computers. When I started commuting, I would go to the library around 7am and stay there until 10:30am with no problems and no want to leave. It is very comfortable and it promotes learning. If you do not want to sit at a computer for hours, try one of their personal and private desks. They are like little individual cubby desks so on either side there is a wall separating you from the person next to you. Do you think the chairs are too hard at the desks? Take a seat on one of our many comfy couches and take a nap like some of our commuter students often do. You can also feel free to bring your laptop with you and not have to worry about finding an available outlet because there are way too many to go around. I would often not do my work at home and leave it for when I go to the school library because i know that i would get it done ten times faster.
