What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

If I could go back in tme to my high school self, I would tell myself to study! That is the most important thing, also I took "fun" class." No, wrong answer", I would tell myself. Take the hard classes, the advanced math, biology, and history. They will come in handy, trust me. They will make college so much easier. I would also tell myself dont focus on boys too much (Just what every teenager wants to hear) they will not be there in a couple of months. I beleive the most important thing is to be prepared to work your bum off. College is up to you, not your mother, father, best friend, or boyfriend. Everything is on and up to you now. Of course enjoy high school, but be prepaired for what is ahead of you. College is your future.

I have gained an extensive amount of knowledge, time-management skills and organizational skills through attending college. I have experienced both online and in-class learning environments, and have been fortunate enough to successfully manage my work, school, and home life. I entered college not having any idea on what degree and potential career I wanted to pursue. Having the ability to take a variety of classes allowed me to narrow my decision down and ultimately, choosing to pursue a Bachelors of Science degree in Criminal Justice.
