My first day of college I didn?t know what to expect; I didn?t know if I was more anxious or nervous about starting school. To be honest, I even mapped out the fastest way to get to my classes and taped the map to my binder. I was an incoming freshman, and I made that pretty obvious. Looking back on that time, my parents and I agree that I have improved dramatically. I survived my first year at St. Mary?s University, and I couldn?t be happier. Now, it seems I have to start over as a sophomore, with new classmates, new professors, and new obstacles to achieve, not to mention remembering how it felt to wake up early in the morning and staying up late to finish an assignment. College is not as easy as I expected, yet it has always been my top priority in life. I believe every student that attends college should have great self confidence, should be responsible, and is willing to overcoming challenging opportunities.
