If I could go back and tell myself a few things, I think it would have changed my life. First, always expect the unexpected. Don't think you'll have people to take care of you. I have been living by myself since 19 years old. I would also have told myself to get a head start on my education. I only went to a community college for a short period of time and never quite decided what it was that I wanted to do with my life. I always tell my younger brother to not take advantage of his time in college. He has been given an opportunity that I was never afforded. I wish that I could have gone away to college and had a degree and a career by now. Now I know what I want to do with my life and I am struggling everyday to accomplish it. It is so much work to get through school and still have the life I have already started. Hopefully it will all work out in the end and I will have a very long, successful career and help many lives.
