When I first looked into Stephen F. Austin State University, I heard rumors that it was a big party school and if you don't drink you won't fit in. However, there may be a lot of parties since Greek life is important to our school, there are plenty of organizations and events that are alcohol-free that are fun and entertaining. Another stereotype is the diversity we have on campus. Our population is fairly diverse, with most of the students being Caucasian and African American.
I believe that the majority of students at SFASU are involved in organizations and greek life. There are greek societies, sororities, and fraternities for students from many different backgrounds. There are hundreds of organizations on campus that students may participate in.
