I like to finish school and start my career. I transferred from ECSU and that was from an on-campus to off-campus experience. I learn better with instructions and unlimited access to my school material online than on campus. I am not sure about their active life on-campus, but the facility is very active and responsive to calls during work hours. I will say that most times advisors will switch out every semester or it is a new system being implemented for students to follow. Overall 4 out 5

Strayer is no a bad university it's the overall cost of going to Strayer which is very expensive along with the books too. However, I wish once you graduate there is a career center to help students get a job. Strayer has some connects like with Accenture which is a government contracting company. If Strayer invest and do some research to help them recruit other graduates that would be great.

  3. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

My advice to myself as a high school senior would be to find a subject matter that truly interest you and focus on obtaing an internships for that field. Internships are really helpful, in regards to obtaining a position in your field while attending college. College provides students with the foundation of specific information but interning allows for you to get the hands on experience that alot of businesses need for the organization. Another suggestion that i would offer is try to obtain a scholarshp to assist with college tuition. The grants that you receive from the government is free money so it is important to use this wisely. Taking out loans can be very expensive and puts alot of students in debt. Taking the time out to apply for scholarships can be very rewarding if you dedicate yourself to finding specific ones where your overall situation matches the necessary criteira. Lastly, I would recommend to really analyze and determine if college life is for you. Everyone is not meant to go to college and that's ok. It's better to know in advance if this is something truly for you before you spend the money to attend.
