What is your overall opinion of this school?

The administration is extremely friendly and helpful. They take the time to get to know you and your interests and guide you into making the most of your college career. The class sizes are small so it's more personal. Professors are easily accessible. I'm extremely happy with choosing Sullivan Technology and Design to further my education.

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

I would tell myself that just because i finished highschool does not mean that your finished . So continue study hard and you don't have to wait to go to college to to start learnig. Read books, take classess while waiting to go to college, so that it can stay fresh in your memory.

What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?

my school has the number one graphic design department in the nation. And also, the courses that we take in a 18 month a.a program here is twice as much as a bachelor degree student would take at a state univeresity.

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

The best advice i could give myslf would be to pay more attention to what i want out of life. To not hold myself back because of others expectations. In some ways college is so much tougher than high school, but in others it's easier. Don't sweat the transition. In 5 years it won't matter but your degree will.

What kind of person should attend this school?

i would suggest that anyone who is intested in a degree in a technical degree attend this school. the have a great staff to student ratio. they also have the latest tools to work with. most of the staff are currently working in the fields they teach.

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

Darcy, you know that graduation is coming up soon and you STILL haven't chosen a college to apply to! Remember when you went from Jr. High to High School and how easy you thought it was? College is JUST LIKE THAT! The enrollment process is so EASY and they walk you through every step the first time around. After that, you get to enroll by yourself and it's not hard at all! You'll probably see kids from high school there, if they choose to go to that college, so making friends won't be hard either. And if you want to live on campus you'll make friends even faster because you'll have a roommate (or two) and you'll get to meet the people THEY know and the possibilities of networking are ENDLESS! And then there's all the extracurricular activities - you know you like to join every school group now - so join some when you get to college! It will take some time to weed out the ones that don't work for you, but that's half the fun! Don't wait too long - life goes on, but it moves better with EDUCATION!

What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

The advice that i would give myself is to stay home. Money is a huge issue right now for a lot of people and my choice of moving away for college or staying home definately would change my desicion. I would also have looked more into the school that i wanted to attend and get the information about the school and not just listen to one of the representative of the school.

What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?

When i first came to this school i was told that i would be able to receive my bachelors degree in 2 1/2 years. But when i decided to move back home i was told that i couldn't. i feel trapped...
