If you are a hard working and motivated person who likes events and being social as well, I would say that UAlbany is the place for you.

Basically, anyone who has a desire and the drive to get a 4 year degree.

The peole that should go to SUNY Albany are the type of people who like to have a mixture of fun and academics. There's a lot to do at night in downtown albany, but this school is not a school for people who don't drink. You should be outgoing but have a lot of fun doing not a lot like sitting in on a snow day.

The kind of person who should attend this school should enjoy being in New York's captial, otherwise all the opportunities made available to them would be a waste.

Someone with a good sense of balance and focus. It is a bigger school therefor you want to make sure you can disiplin yourself to study and get your work done. Work hard and party hard!

You should attend this school if you like a diverse college experience. Everyone here is different in their own way and have something to contribute. You will meet all kinds of people from all over the place and have a really great time. But it's also about the education. You have to be ready and be prepared to work longer than you have and to study for your classes or you won't do well.

A very out-ging, yet focused person should attend this school.

Anyone who would like to be anonymous when they want (it's like a big town by itself), but still run into their friends all the time. Someone who will take the initiative to get involved in campus activities, and who wants a wide variety of activities. Someone who wants a beautiful campus, lots of places to study, and a home away from home.

This school is really for anyone, whether you did alright in high school or very well, it's all what you make of the opportunities laid before you. I'd say this is the perfect school for an average student who has many interests both in and out of the classroom. There are many majors offered here so there's a large array of paths you can take.

A person that wants to achieve their goal of graduating college and wanting to make something out of their life. One that wants to succeed and gain experience and throughout their years in college.

You should attend this school if there is a major you are interested in.

If someone is looking to attend UA, they should be open minded and unafraid of new experiences and people. The University is HUGE which means that there is somewhere for everyone to fit in; you just have to be willing to find your niche. As a transfer student living off campus, it was difficult for me to make frineds at first, but then I started introducing myself to classmates and consequently gained many friendships that extended outside of the classroom.

Someone who is social or who is looking to be social should attend SUNY Albany. They should enjoy living in a somewhat urban area. Students should have an open mind to new things.

Very focused

People attending this school should have a strong desire to engage in different cultures, political mindsets, and religious principles. There is a focus on reaching out from your personal "bubble" inorder to better understand and relate to the world. As a liberal arts school, SUNY Albany's goal is to form well rounded individuals ready for the work place. However, being ready for the work place is not everything at Albany, and there are many programs which encourage people to interact on levels beyond career orientated activities. People attending this school should be driven to grow!

anykind of person! there are many, many different kinds of people here, anyone would fit right in, unless you prefer a small, intimate school.

A student who likes getting involved in activities would like it here. We have a large number of clubs and organizations here on campus, and in addition, a very active community with plenty of opportuntities to get involved. You need to like the cold and have your own car or rely on busses that run between the college and the mall and downtown.

Someone who enjoys meet new people everyday. Isn't affraid of situations with eithe alot of people or just a few people, whether it be a class or a social situation. Someone who is well rounded and likes to many different things, and likes alot of options. Someone who like a moderate city setting with many surrounding things to do in the area.

Someone that is used to diversity and comfortable with all different types of people. Also someone who doesn't care if they don't have close relationships with professors and classmates. People at this school need to be able to motivate themselves because classes are large so students don't get much individual attention from professors.

perhaps a person who want's to just go to school and then live thier life. i dont believe the school life interferes with the social life at all here. maybe the social life does interefere with the school life, but definatley not the other way around. i coincidentally made friends with the people in my major, they just happend to be fencers like me, but that doesn't mean everyone else will be as fortunate as i was. but the school work definatley did not screw up my chances of making friends, that's for sure.
