Describe the best and worst parts of the social scene on campus.

The best part of the social scene here is how absolutely friendly most students are. And I'm not just saying that. Everyone that I've talked to, and I've talked to a lot of people, seemed to be nice, helpful, chill, and intelligent. You can talk about partying with them, and talk to the very same people about the Chemistry test coming up. The worst part might be the amount of drug use here (that could be good or bad depending on how you view it, but we'll say bad because it's not the most legal thing). Within a few months of being here, I've already witnessed some hardcore drug use among people. In addition to that, a lot of people have already been exposed to the notorious date rape drug. The general rule is to just be smart about the social scene. Make friends with people you have things in common with, and while you should network outside of that bubble too, don't find yourself caught up in the loads of experimenting that goes on.
