Good question that most people don't look far enough into. The meal plan is as such: Breakfast: M-F from 7:30-10:30 you can use a breakfast meal plan. You can either get all you can eat food at a dining hall (I like dining hall food, there's a lot of different things you can get and it's decent quality food, some people don't like the dining hall for some reason it's all preference), or you can use a meal exchange for $4.50 at one of the fast food type places on campus (Pistachios (pasta, paninis, and sandwiches) Putnams (wraps, subs, paninis, breakfast sandwiches, salads) Moe's (big burritos, quesadillas, nachos), Sizzles (burgers, breakfast items like eggs, pancakes, etc, salads) Salsa (like Moe's but not as good), Hubies (pizza and subs) Berts (basically Putnams and the breakfast part of Sizzles combined) Soma Sushi (sushi) and Wrap it Up (wraps). That's it for North Campus. South Campus has some other places. Brunch: Weekends only 10:30am-2:30pm: You can go to the dining hall or use a meal exchange for $7.00 Lunch: M-F 11am-4pm you can NOT go to the dining hall for lunch, it is closed. You can only use a meal exchange for $7.25 Dinner: 4:30pm-8:30pm every day You can go to the dining hall or use a meal exchange for $8:25. Different meal plan options: 19 meal plan with $200 dining dollars (dining dollars can be used anywhere where meal exchanges are accepted). This is the most cost effective meal plan even though it is the highest price. Each meal cost about $8 with this plan. 14 meal plan with $300 dining dollars: if you do the math, it is stupid to do this meal plan. You would save money by paying with real cash when you buy food instead of using meals because a meal cost about $9.50 with this plan 150, 120, and 90 meal blocks: don't ever get these meal plans because they will get you little food at an expensive price. The meal costs are about $11.50, $11, and $10.50 respectively. My advice is to get the 19 meal plan if you eat a lot and like convenience. If you don't eat a lot and care about money, I would suggest avoiding a meal plan altogether and spending cash or using a credit or debit card. Brunch Lunch Dinner Late Night:
