The first year classes there are a joke, they are more like middle school or easy high school classes. Once you finally get to the classes for your major they are much more enjoyable and actually make you think. The food situation isn't that great, they need more vegan options, some of the staff was even confused on what the word vegan meant.

SUNY Old Westbury was a school I chose out 5 that I got accepted too. However, they lied to me about giving me a scholarship off the bat and said they so not do that you have to apply for them. Then during the application process they tell me I do not qualify for any of them. The teachers I have are great but the higher ups of this school do not care about there students especially when they have been through hell and are trying to turn their life around. It is heartbreaking to know I have to pay $4000 out of pocket when I barely make that in a semester.

This school is okay if you don't want a social campus. everyone is very isolated from others. Also, the school is very small, therefore, everyone's business is in the open. The cafe food is terrible, and the only other food is nations, fake chipotle, and fake subways. The gym is wack as well as their sports teams. The only pro to this school is the dorms on the woodlands side is larger than most college dorms.

I love it here. Its an awesome school with an awesome environment. The professors are wonderful and don't burden you with too much homework. They lecture well and provide classes that are small and fun. The food is good and you can take as much as you want. The recreation is awesome and I have spent some time in the gym. I love the atmosphere as there are a lot of trees and birds on campus. There are also a lot of friendly people there and a lot of programs and groups you can join. I have enjoyed my stay at SUNY Old Westbury very much.
