One major stereotype at my school is that it is a huge party school. People think that SUNY Cortland is full of alcoholics who only know how to party, drink, and do drugs. Another stereotype is fraternity and sorority kids. I obviously did not know this before coming to school here, because that would have been a major turn off for me but I heard things of that nature from people once I started going here. After being at school here for three years, I have noticed that my school is full of students who are hard workers and eager to learn. Yes, greek life is a large aspect but it is also full of athletes and many other educational clubs to become a part of.

Our websites do not provide, nor are they intended to provide, a comprehensive list of all schools (a) in the United States (b) located in a specific geographic area or (c) that offer a particular program of study. By providing information or agreeing to be contacted by a Sponsored School, you are in no way obligated to apply to or enroll with the school. Your trust is our priority.
