Swarthmore is one of the most liberal, idealistic colleges in the country, for better or for worse, as 49% of graduates go onto non-profit jobs.


Swarthmore is a school of passionate people engaging each other in common endeavours. Many of them are passionate about different things, and often things that I am not passionate about; when I am with them, however, I become interested thanks to their enthusiasm and energy. I love that students see eachother as colleagues rather than as competitors, all striving towards their own goals and assisting eachother towards them, rather than fighting each other for 'supremacy.'
