I wish I would have know the percentage of people of color that attend this school and also how small it really is.
I wish I had of known how much different it was going to be from high school. I never expected college to be so hard. Although I didn't expect it to be extemely easy either. I just wish someone would have told me I needed to work alot harder in high school then I did. In order to prepare me for the furture.
I wish that I had known the reality of how much it cost.
The college is quite accurate for the marketing aspect. It does provide somewhat of a false sense of off campus activities. It is very rural community, with 3280 acres of fields and hiking trails. So for the nature girl, it is considered heaven. We have an equestiran program which many of the students participate in. The things i would have like to know more about when coming here, was the cost and the amount of financial aid that is truly offered, because I have two sisters and a twin and finances are a struggle in my family.
I wish I had known more about their engineering department. Their engineering department was taking a turn from General Engineering to Robotics and does't have enough dedicated professors to make the program work. In a few years I think the program will be up to par but right now it is scattered.
I wish I had known how to cope with living with someone new.
