Syracuse University is known for its active research in all fields of study from education to chemistry to psychology to biology. It is very generous in offering financial aid to students who have the ability to achieve great things but cannot afford to pay the full tuition. The university provides help to all students to help their performance both mentally and physically.

The thing that best characterizes Syracuse is probably ourselves: THE ORANGEMEN, based on the school's mascot, Otto the Orange! Sports is a big part of our community and probably one of the best extracurricular activities the school offers. Watching a Basketball or Lacrosse game on the weekends is always a favorite! I don't think I've ever seen more school spirit better than ours! Not only does the word "Orangemen" bring us together to form our community but, it also represents each individual that makes a part of Syracuse University, as well!

Syracuse university is a pretty diverse campus, but people tend to hang out in cliques or groups. Just be open to new people and experiences and enjoy the campus life. School work is not too hard if you can just manage your time.

We are known for a diverse school. The studies we learn from our professors are intelectual and whenever we ave a problem we can get help directly from them.
