The worst thing about Tarrant County College is that they do not have very many options for students when it comes to the times certain classes are available. For example, this fall, I am going to take microbiology and anatomy however, I cannot take them both in the morning because there is not a time slot available for me to do so.
The worst thing about this school is that there isn't enough student involvement. Students seem to be in the mentality of just getting through and tend to miss out on the campus activities.
The Math Department at the Northeast campus. I haven't taken a full math class in six years, and it's difficult to grasp the material when none of the professors I've taken can teach the material.
The parking!
The worst thing about my school as of this moment is parking. The times that i have class the parking lots get filled up and it can be difficult to find a good spot. Other than that TCC Southeast provides great teachers who are willing to help you as long as it is within class time or office hours. Some teachers are even willing to give their students their personal email address so that if someone has a question during the weekend the student will be able to contact the instructor.
There aren't many ways you can get involed with the school.
The worst thing at my school are the parking lots, for being such a small community college, may students attend this school. The parking lots are always full and I have diffculty findiing a parking spot.Other than that this community college has a good student to teacher ratio and the classes are never over crowded.
The worst thing about my school is that it is run-down. It was built a long time ago and the school does a poor job at keeping it up. They fix parts here & there but overall its disgusting. There are universities builts over a hundred years ago that have that "charm" but TCC definitely doesnt have that charm.
Tarrant County does have some downfalls as a school. The books are very expensive at the bookstore and for some classes you have to buy the "TCC version" of the book, which makes it even more expensive. The thing I dislike most about TCC is the price of books.
Their are several campus's and when you call one specific campus, the automated line answers for all five and then you have to go through the entire list to get to the campus your looking for, then at that point you have to go through the automated line once again just to get to the departmnent your needing. By the time I do all of that, I could have driven to the campus.
The worst thing about my school is you don't get the full college experience that you expect. It is like being in high school but with harder classes.
The stereotype that is tacted to the students who attend as partiers versus hard workers.
The price of the books in the Student Store.
