Temple University Top Questions

The sports scene on Temple campus is insane. We have an organization on campus called the Cherry Crusade that is dedicated to cheering on all our Temple teams. We are fanatics. We love our Owls with everything in us. Fight, fight fight for the cherry and the white, for the cherry and the white fight fight fight!

Temple is a very competitive athletic school--sports games often have high attendance. As far as academics, Temple makes many accommodations for athletes, including a private tutoring and advising center.

Sports are pretty big here. I go to most of the football games and I usually go to all of the basketball games, including the girls games. We have a lot of pride on campus and when we play other Philly schools like St.Joe's and UPenn, it's a big deal. Just as it is on most colleges, football and basketball are our biggest programs but I enjoy all sports and you can find me at a Volleyball, Soccer, or Softball game. I even went to the Fencing Open for the first time this year. Our sports teams are all very competitive and the games are definitely the place to be.

A fair amount of students will go to football games. We play at Lincoln Financial where the Eagles play, which is cool. It is always a big deal when we play Penn State at home. For basketball, that is what we pride ourselves on. We always have a good turn out!
