What is the stereotype of students at your school?

There are many different types of students at the school, so I can not say there is a stereotype that encompasses everyone at Temple.

There are many different groups of students at Temple, and while each group has its own stereotypes, there is no overarching stereotype of Temple students.

Which one? There are tons! Mainly I hear complaints about the Hipsters in Tyler or the frat boys and frat rats everywhere else, but there's some more... ethnically-centered ones too. Also, people assume that just because it's pretty easy to get into Temple the academics aren't strong.

That Temple is in the ghetto and it's easy to get in.

Temple students are not known to be the brainiest bunch. Unfortunately this is true. There are also alot of scary looking big goon types. Not a safe campus in a very bad neighborhood too.

The stereotypes, at least those held by non-students, are fairly negative. The big four would be that it's a school for those who couldn't get into Penn State, it's a school only for people from the area, it's a commuter school, and the campus is very unsafe.
