The perfect small town college. It's located directly between two larger cities, Chattanooga and Knoxville, that offer plenty of "big city" things to do. The professors know you. You will not go unnoticed by the faculty. The small school provides a comforting environment. The school's athletics are competitive.

I think this is a very amazing school. It is a beautiful campus and they is a lot of support from teachers and students themselves. I have gone and we came into interaction with the president of the college who had a talk with us and seemed very genuine and interested in all students. They have a small student to teacher ratio which makes it easy for teachers to be involved with their students. There are programs that help keep students on track.

I love it! I’m more in tuned to a small school! The class of no more than 25 is awesome! And the teachers are always available for one on one help! There are lots of social things to do and the food is great! Totally awesome atmosphere couldn’t ask for a better learning experience.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

I would tell myself to be more prepared. It's alot different than just switching from Elementary school to middle school then High school. It takes alot more effort and alot more studying is involved. So I would recommened getting everything ready in advanced and not beat around the bush. School can wait but only for a little bit. You can't just keep putting everything off. Sometimes you don't have time to do things at the last minute. I believe that anything is possible if you try try and try again. Don't give up even if you seem to fail at something because sooner or later you will get the hang of it.

  7. What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

The worst thing about my school, Tennessee Wesleyan College, is the cost. I love the campus and instructors, however the cost is out of my price range. I am currently getting student loans to help pay for classes and will pay them off on a teacher's salary after I graduate. After transferring colleges three times, Tennessee Wesleyan College offered courses that would help me graduate quicker than other area schools. In the end, the timing of graduation, nice campus, and loving instructors are keeping me at TWC, despite cost.
