I believe A&M is a remarkable place and has something for everybody. I only came to this university for the major, as I am not a fan of the huge population, but I can appreciate its place as one of the top colleges in the country! As a student attending counseling sessions, I will say I was informed A&M has a policy of only allowing students to attend 1 on 1 session for up to a semester. This is apparently done because the counselors are understaffed, which angers me as to why A&M can spend a ludicrous amount of money on football games and building an almost royal like hotel for their top donators, but cannot spend some more money on hiring more helping hands for their 65,000 students who have problems counseling could surley help relieve.

My overall opinion of Texas A&M University is that it is one of the best schools in the nation. We have hundreds, if not thousands, of outlets for students to get involved in organizations both on-campus and off. We also have more traditions than we even know what to do with! Everything from proposing underneath the Century Tree to starting off every football game with the War Hymn and a few rounds of Farmers Fight, Aggies definitely have more school spirit than any other school in Texas! In the classroom, we are well-known for our more-than-stellar academics and world-renown professors. Overall, Texas A&M University is a fantastic place for both in-classroom learning and out of the classroom fun and involvement.

It is a beautiful campus with great programs for almost every degree. There is some very accomplished faculty here doing very meaningful research on a multitude of topics and problems. There are tons and tons of opportunities for any student here on campus and off of campus to intern, volunteer and work with like-minded peers. The facilities on campus are amazing and top tier, there is more than enough for the 60,000 thousand students here although traffic can be quite harsh sometimes. I have been in two different degree programs so far and every faculty I have had in class or met outside of class have all been very knowledgable understanding and kind people. Texas A&M does not take their faculty hiring lightly, and rightfully so.

Texas A&M was a culture shock for me. At first, I was intimidated with how much people took pride of the school but their humility made it not as bad. Everyone on campus is friendly and ready to help anyone in need. Teachers care about their students and will go out of their way to make sure they are okay.

If you are looking for a university that feels like a "home away from home", then Texas A&M is the institution for you. When you first step onto campus you will greeted with a friendly and exciting "Howdy!", and students will be happy to show you around or help you out if needed. TAMU not only offers a safe and inviting environment, but it is also a place overflowing with cultural diversity and inclusion. The MSC Open House offers a large variety of clubs fit for any interest or talent, and if you can't find one you always have the option to establish a club of your own. The faculty is very knowledgeable and approachable, and they are sincerely invested in your success and progress both at TAMU and after you graduate. There are plenty of research opportunities available and new learning frontiers are being introduced and achieved every day. Overall, TAMU is known as the most friendliest college campus, and if our Howdy does not catch your attention then the beautiful campus, exciting football games, and school traditions surely will.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

I love Texas A&M. This is the school I have been accepted to go for to further my education in the fall of 2019 as an incoming freshman. I am from a small town in south Texas and I am extremely excited to study and pursue my studies in my dream career. This school offers everything I could have ever wanted. The size was very intimidating at first when I visited the campus. Every other aspect of this college is absolutely perfect to me.

I knew that I only wanted to attend Texas A&M and it was the only school I applied for. So far I have had such a great experience with meeting people, learning, and staying healthy. Everyone is so nice and we all just want to see each other succeed and grow as people. Texas A&M has such a caring and nurturing environment and it is very hard to be lonely there unless you try to be. I love my school.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

Texas A&M is a place that I would consider my home. Mainly due to it's importance and stress over traditions, but it also offers new and improved stuff for students and parents. Football season is probably the most exciting and traditionally heavy season of the year. Also, I've never met such kind people in a huge institution in my whole life. Aggies really uphold their mission statement, and everyone is extremely helpful and nice.

One of the best affordable and still a fancy school for students from all over the country and world. Would recommend to my cousins and relatives. I visited with my family and we all loved not only the campus but also the atmosphere which is one of the main checklists my parents seek in colleges. love this college!

I love gaining a higher education at Texas A & M University in College Station. I am academically challenged and encouraged to do my best in the classroom, as well as involved in extracurriculars. I am proud to be an Aggie. I know Texas A & M is helping me set my future up for success.
