i was able to go to the the A&M University for some years for some field trips in my avid class and as i have been able to go to the university i was able to learn a lot from there including the fact that they provide a well secured and fundamental educational system that could help me in the career goals that i have later in life and also i enjoyed the community there and i hope to later attend the college.

I have visited TAMU countless times and have a sister who is a student there. To say the least, it is an amazing school. This school is full of excellent people with fun events and a beautiful campus. I cannot wait to be an aggie!!!!! The food is good wherever you go also, so I think that will be the hardest for me... trying to stay in shape with all of the tasty foods tempting me. I am not mad about it though.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

As a child and a young adult, I aspired to become an Aggie. I had my heart set on going to Texas A&M at College Station, and I made it happen! I started high school strong and finished my senior year in the top 10% of my graduating class. I knew that being the oldest child of three to my single mother with limited income, I would have to make my own dreams come true; paying for school out of pocket was not an option for me. When I finally received my acceptance letter, I excitedly went for a visit and was immediately inspired by the atmosphere and the people I met - I, unintelligibly, visited during the summer. Eager to move out on my own and start my college career, I moved to campus in hopes that I would make lifelong friends and learn as much as possible during my next 4 adventurous years. Sadly, I quickly learned that my classes were full of students uninterested in becoming friends, or starting study groups, and never made conversation. I spent most of my first few months alone, studying for classes that I would eventually drop. The academics were not the issue; my professors were uninterested in getting to know students, and were often easily frustrated with students that did not understand the work taught in class. Failing my first Chemistry exam, I realized that if I had any intention of passing, I would need to give tutoring a try. Unfortunately, after three attempts to be taught Calculus I and Chemistry I, I realized that I was set for failure - not completely my own fault, either. I sought counseling after three months to help with my worsening mental health, which was ultimately made worse by my failing of exams and failing to secure reliable tutoring. After four weeks of counseling, a personality assessment, and a career match assessment, I decided Texas A&M was extremely detrimental to my health. My counselor did her best to help with my issues, and helped guide me to what, surprisingly, was my best decision in college: I withdrew from Texas A&M. I returned to my hometown and applied at the junior college; I am now studying to be a psychologist (most likely because of the amazing impression the counselor at Texas A&M left on me) and am about to transfer to another university. The reason I gave Texas A&M a three-star review despite my awful experience is because I see A&M as a stepping stone for what became the best possible version of my life.

University of A&M is one of the best schools out there. I believe I chose correctly when I denied all other schools to come here. It is absolutely fantastic and if I was given a chance to go to any school in the world, I would still choose A&M. It is really a great school to learn engineering in.

If you are considering attending Texas A&M, make no mistake you will be making a great decision. A university of this size offers so many different opportunities and resources for its students to succeed. I personally believe that I received an excellent education as well as made lifelong connections and friendships during my time in College Station. Additionally, A&M has amazing facilities including their new student recreation center, student center, and engineering building. I also believe that you get out what you put into your college experience. No matter which school you end up attending, be sure to put yourself out there. You never know where you will find success.

TAMU is a nice campus with plenty to do and many opportunities to get involved on campus. There a lot of organizations and clubs available to students. The food options are convenient and offer healthy choices for particilular eaters. The library, computer labs and printing service make completing assignments worry free.

This is the best University I have ever been to or seen, the way the student body is connected makes us all a family. The way we honor tradition and the participation from the student body is nothing short of magnificent. Attending this school, means more than just an education, it's a culture unlike any other, it's indescribable.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

In my opinion, A&M is a great university to attend and it is one of my dream colleges. Despite the fact that people say there is nothing to do there and that it is in the middle of nowhere, there are 50,000 students so there is at least always at least something to do. Furthermore the school spirit and pride is second to none at this school with people having more school pride then any other in Texas.
