Texas A&M Commerce is a leader in student-staff interactions. Almost every person who works on campus goes above and beyond to make sure that we have access to any help we might need. The university is large enough to give you the big school experience but small enough to make you feel at home.

The campus is small and it is easy to find your way around. There are plenty of serves to help the students with there work. It is an all around cool school, with an amazing art program if I might add.

I brag about how good the Chemistry program is. I also brag about how TAMU-Commerce provides the students with variety of great opportunities to be sucessful in college.

How freaking cheap it is. One of the best deals you can get in terms of education because the price you pay for the quality you get is pretty fantastic. Also we have an awesome honors college which provides full ride scholarships, but does not help you if you do not know about it. Off campus housing is great too, with good land lords. Some really nice and kind people here as well, pretty much everyone is easy to get along with.

classroom environments are small and teachers are able to know students on a more personal level giving them better help when it comes to their studies. Also because classes are small, students have an opportunity to get to know their classmates better.

I am mostly proud of the fact that I am a first time, 33 year old mom of three having a go at the college experience. That alone is enough to brag about. That and the campus has an Einstein Bagel's!

It is a smaller school that others so you have a lot of one on one time with the teachers. You can also focus better on studies since there is really not that much going on, that is parties and that sort of thing. Everyone is really friendly and if want to make new friends it is no problem. You get to really know your instructors, which is great for me because one of them is going to be the one who writes my letter for medical school and some of the others will be on the board.

Class size, Class Availability, Professors, Diversity

When I tell my friends about my school, I brag mostly about the people I am surrounded by and the small class sizes. With small class sizes, the professor is more able to have one on one teaching with a student and as a result, we are able to learn more quickly and efficiently.

I am a Communication major, Theatre minor, so I am very involved in University productions. I love this school because it is small enough that you are able to try different things. As an undergraduate, you get hands on training in building sets, designing any aspect of a production, directing, acting, etc. At larger schools, you have to be an upperclassman to get stage time. At Commerce, I have been in five productions within my first year and a half. Because you can do so much, I am learning more here than I would have had I gone elsewhere.

I brag about having the opportunity to go to school without actually having to drive to school. The school I am attending is three hours away and I would not have the chance to attend if it was not online.

The class sizes are small. So, you have an enormous opportunity to get one-on-one help. Also, the teachers here are very knowledgable about the material and seem to be quite excited about teaching it to their students.

The teachers are great, they actually care about the students they teach. They love what they do and it shows.
