The kind of person who should not attend this school, TAMUC, is someone who is not willing to take their education serious because here at TAMUC we are committed students in doing our best and achieving our goals at the end. We take our education serious here at TAMUC.

This is the kind of school that is accepting of all people. I don't really see how someone can't fit in. The students here are always friendly, and the classes are small enough for the teachers to give each student their undivided attention.

There isn't any kind of person that shouldn't attend this school. It is open for any type of student. If you are looking for a college in a small town then this can be on your list of possibilities. The only reason you shouldn't attend is if they do not have your major or you can't achieve what you are looking for here degree wise. It is otherwise perfect for any type of student whether you are an international student or from the United States. All kinds of people should attend Texas A&M University-Commerce.

People that don't like a small town with very little people

I don't know/ Someone who doesn't want to fgo to college. someone who doesn't like to be friendly. But even if they did attend this school they would eventually make friends cause thats the type of school it is. Friendly and outgoing and high spirited. Also people who don't want to have a higher education. People who simply just don't want to put any effort into being a better person. All they want to do is stay home and not do anything. People who are lazy and procrastinators and just want to stay home always

I think the only kind of person who shouldn't attend Texas A&M Commerce is one that is going to be lazy in their work. It is a real goal-oriented school. Also, real unsocial people may not find their experience here satisfactory. Other than these examples, basically any kind of person is accepted and welcomed here.

Any kind of person is welcome. As long a one is ready to commit to their work and can handle all they become involved in, then they should be fine. I have seen people that just stop going to class and get involved with the wrong crowd have no choice but to completely drop out altogether. It's sad, but it happens.

A student who plans to major in the medical field should not attend this university because this university doesn't offer a medical program.

Commerce is a very small town and doesn't have much to do outside of the campus. It is slow going on the weekends and you have to go to the next city over to find something really entertaining to do besides drink. If you like alot of school activities and the bustle of the city this isn't the place for you!

There are so many diverse groups of people that attend school here. I can't think of someone that wouldn't find some group to fit in with.

Although not very widely diverse, I think this is a good school for anyone seraching for that option outside the realm of usual college decisions. It's in the country but not completely in the middle of nowhere. However, there are some exceptions. Not everyone is into the small-town country scene where the majority of the city and school populations is wearing cowboy boots and "dipping" in class.

Even though I myself am from a large city (Houston), I think one type of person who would find Texas A & M - Commerce unsuitable would be someone who is not used to a small town and cannot find things to do. It is a definite culture shock comming from a large city, but if one has people skills and a good head on their shoulders, something like a small town will not be bothersome.

I would not recommend this school to someone in a Scientific field. While we have a fairly new Science building, it is not technologically advanced or research friendly. In a Biology Lab, there was no First Aid Kit or several of the other safety equipment we were shown how to use in our safety presentation.

Because I work full-time, I have chosen a college that offers an online degree program. This type of program requires significant time management skills and a constant internal motivation. For any potential students to this program, I would encourage them to take an online course through a community college to see if they could handle it and if they like that type of structure. Any students who thrive off of being in a classroom setting, learn best through lectures and need constant social interaction should not consider this program and instead should take traditional classes on campus.

Someone who is real use to always going out on the town.

I believe that my school could meet the needs of any individual.

Texas A&M Commerce is a welcoming school but it is not for everyone. People who prefer a big-city feel should probably stay away from Texas A&M Commerce; Commerce is a small town and is a far-cry from the Dallas that I am used to! I think people who are not laid back and friendly would do best to avoid Commerce.

This school is pretty much open to anyone who wants a higher education. I wouldn't say any one specific or particular type of person shouldn't go here.

A city person, or someone that really depends on city life, should not attend here. Commerce Texas is a very rural town. It does have all of the necessities, but it does not have the typical city life style that a city person would expect.

I think any person could and should attend this school. Everyone has to decide for themselves what school meets their needs. Do they offer the program you want? Can you aford to go to that school? Living arrangements?

The type of person who should not attend this school are those who have to be close to a big city. Living here you have to drive at least 40 minutes to do anything, so those who don't like small towns shouldn't come here.

Someone who is looking for a small school and doesn't have a lot of money. This school has a well-known education department and the teachers here inspire you to be the best at what it is you are trying to do.

A type of person who should not attend our school would be one who does not intend to study, expecially if they are within the biology and/or mathematics fields. A great amount of attention is being paid to the science field (new building, equipment, etc.) and much is expected of our science students. Also people who need a lot of tutoring should not come. There is not much tutoring provided. People who like a large town should not come either. It's very small here, but is within driving distance of malls.

Someone who likes the big city shouldn't attend this school.
