A&M Corpus Christi topped the other schools I've applied for because the campus and location is perfect for me. I'm a stress bug because I let pressure get to me, but having a college visit I could feel the calmness that the ocean brang to the campus. College will be difficult no matter where I go but because of these qualities, it gave A&M Corpus the upper hand on all the other schools. Going to this University I strongly feel that I will accomplish everything I am there for.

Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi is uniquely an island unto itself. Most schools are settled in a town where the people that live there consider themselves a college town. Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi is built on an island surround by the bay. I believe that provides the students and faculty on campus a closer relationship with one another and makes the school a family--granted a really big family.

There is more focus on science majors than social sciences, but all of the teachers & students are very environmentally concious, sometimes to an amazing extent., and volunteerism is important here.

we are the island university. our entire campus is located on an island. i love this about my school, i concider it to be very unique.

It is small. TAMUCC is very student oriented and student centered. Also, they have a great freshman program that really helps in the transition from highschool to college. The advisors really care and want to help.

Compared to some other Universities I considered, I thought that Texas A&M Corpus Christi had active and interesting lifestyle opportunities that just fit me. Swimming, surfing, fishing, and bonding with friends on the beach are just some of the daily activities offered by Corpus Christ. And if thats not great enough, the people are just infectious. There is a happiness within the people that I just cant get enough of, and I think that makes my school unique.

It's growing and in the process of becoming something grand but it still has a small community college atmosphere while at the same time lots of construction. It's also like a melting pot of cultures from the heavy hispanic influnence mixed with white conservatism. Very interesting student body and professors from almost everywhere.

We are a local commuter school...most people live off campus in aartments but they dont live with their paretns, they live with other students

My school is located right on the beach. On a hot summer day you can go do beach activities right in front of school.
