I don't think there's a specific kind of person that should attend this school, but if I were to pick I would have to say that it would be a type of person that is into country stuff. Such as going to the ranch and riding horses and things of that nature.
Somone who doesn't mind a quiet campus, with very few entertainment options in town.

Texas A&M University-Kingsville is surrounding with people who have their arms wide open whenever you need them.
At TAMUK there is something for everyone. There are so many majors and minors to choose from so anyone can find great education. Just because it is a small school, TAMUK is certainly not a big high school as many may think. All of the professors teach with high academic standards so there can be absolutely no slacking off in class. A person with high ambition and motivation should attend this school because even though it is small, one still is challenged in every class in every subject.
The person that attends this school should have an incredibile amount of motivation, and they should expect most oppurtunities to come outside of this school. The advantage of going to this school is the fact is cheaper, so the students coming here are usually not financially supported. Must be very positive, especially when it comes to finances. The financial aid is very slow, and they usually don't know what is going on. They must also be prepared to go off campus to do any type of extra curricular activity.
Anyone interested in or from South Texas would love Kingsville. Anyone who like Corpus Christi or hunting would have plenty of fun in their free time. Anyone interested in engineering, agriculture, or wildlife science has found one of the best schools for them in Kingsville.
Anyone who likes a small campus and prefers to study in any different field of study.Kingsville is a great school!!
