A person that is lazy or that is willing to cheat should not attend this school.
I believe any person can atten The University of Texas at Brownsville. This university is very diverse and its environment is perfect.
I have peers in my classes that are parents and currently employees that want earing a Bachelor's degree, so they can be promote in their organizations.
A person who doesn't want to learn shouldn't attend this University.
It is the dream of an undefiened number of students who would like to attend The University of at Brownsville. However, for different reason they cannot. In the other hand, there are student that already enrolled in this university and they do not accomplish their goals. I think that students whose main concern in to have a free time at school in college should not be able to attend it. Stop wasting other individual´s time and give the opportunity to people who will take on this oppurtunity.
People who are not willing to work for their education.
Someone should not attend this school for social purposes. Also if your not a part in the majority race you will be required to put up with alot of rudeness and negative favoritism.
A person not interested in mankind or the environment. A Loser...as this is a Success Planned Campus.
The people who should not attend this school are those who are not really intersted in academics. Those people who are being forced by their parents to attend and are not yet ready to commit to completing their education.
Any person that plans to attend any college or higher education must have their personal short and long term goals. College is a once and a lifetime experience that is liberating and rewarding. Most of my peers are grounded and want to obtain a degree, and as the years have progressed the ones that are not serious about their courses and degree have slipped through the cracks.
The University of Texas in Brownsville is an open campus and we take ALL kinds of people! One of my main objectives is to continue to set an example and my own experience to incoming university students. This university not only does it serve traditional students, but, also serves nontraditional potential students. I want to especially give back to those nontraditional students (30 or 40 year olds) who drop-out-of high school and work at dead-end jobs that don?t pay enough to provide for their families and after much consideration they decide to pursue a higher education.
The kind of person that would not flourish in this school setting would be a student who take their education lightly and does not make it a priority to attend class and participate in class discussions.
Students that want to finish a career, but need more classes, should go to other universities. Smart people and people who have a great knowledge can assist our university.
The University of Texas at Brownsville is not the proper college campus for an individual that is seeking an environment that consists of anything MASSIVE. It is a large school for its location and the diversity is abundant, however there are no major football or basketball teams, so someone who is expecting to see their alma mater on ESPN should not even bother filling out an application.
The Kind of person that should not attend this school is the person that does not want to succeed in their life.
A student who is not ready for college. Astudent who feels college is a waste of time and would prefer hanging out with their friends. Students who waste their time in lcass by talking, chatting, or doing other things that distract themselves and others in class hsould not attend college....everyone has the right to attend. But there are certain times in one's life when you are prepared to attend.
This school is good for everyone.
Someone who is not able to be among the Hispanic culture and customs.
Students who have family in Brownsville, Texas should attend my school.
I think that this school should be more ethnically and racially diverse. the professors are about as diverse as they come. we do have soccer and volleyball players coming from different countries, but our population still remains at about 97{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} hispanic. its important to expose students to different cultures and people.
At UTB we have a unique veiw of life. We are friendly and are always optimistic. We like change and encourage new ideas. If you have none of this qualities, and decide to attend UTB beware, we tend to rub off on people and unless you do not want to have a life time experince that will enhance your learning ability and built a life time bond with UTB, then do not attend UTB.
