My classmates depending on the class can either be incredibly open minded such as one would be if they were taking a philosophy class or extremely attentive and inquistive such as one would be if they were taking a chemistry class. Each student is eager to learn new material and excel in class. Every student is helpful in attending to others who dont understand the material quite as well as they do. There is an openess that surrounds the students in the way that they want their classmates to succeed just how they want to succeed.

whether you are in a big classroom or a small one, the classmates are usually all pretty much equal. usually in big classes, people often find it hard to meet other people with the teacher lecturing the entire time, but the small classes are good too when it comes to meeting others or group work.

I do not know them that much, but many seem like very determined and quite eager students. Most of the students pay close attention to the professors and avoid making disruptions. Many are also quite helpful in assisting others in the curriculum and providing notes to those who have had to miss. Study groups are organized and led by students before tests and really help many other students, including myself.

At Texas State University, there are a great amount of students, which is definitely a change from my small town public school in east Texas, so I thought maybe it would make things harder for me but i've come to find out that all my classmates are very driven and dedicated to their education, just like me, everyone is there for one reason and that's to better themselves and make a better future for everyone, which makes me even more grateful for the opportunity to be able to attend college at my age.

Since you are required to live on campus your first year, meeting people in the dorms is the best way to make life-long friends. The atmosphere here is perfect if you are an outgoing person and like to go out.

The online resource of the the classes are efficent when there are questions and you can email among your peers to find the answer. I feel like I can turn to anyone to find an answer.
