Texas Tech has a great atmosphere and I hope to become a Red Raider next year. I want to be apart of their big school and have lots of options towards the clubs and student life. Texas Tech shows me they are a safe campus and is definitely number one on my list of colleges. They have everything to offer for students and give once in a lifetime opportunities that other colleges in the United States can not. They are an outstanding school that dives into research and cares about every single student. It is a fantastic school that anyone would be lucky to attend.

I love Texas Tech, it is a very welcoming campus. There are so many things to do on campus and off if you look in the right places. It is a beautiful campus with amazing people and there is rarely any trouble. The professors are also very helpful and informative.

The school spirit and atmosphere is something you can’t find anywhere else. We are all one big happy family. You’ll never get tired of hearing the matador song, and you’ll always get chills when the masked rider runs across the field. Classes are amazing and you meet some of the greatest people.

Great campus. Great People. Overall a wonderful place to live and study.! There is not much to Lubbock other than the university, however it seems as though the whole town are active participants with the university. There is always something going on!

Finding a niche group anywhere can be a daunting task; however, at Texas Tech University there is undoubtedly a place for everyone. Every semester there is a clubs and organizations fair designed to show just how diverse the student's interests are. From a "humans versus zombies" club to competitive intermural sports, the student body can and will have a group to accommodate every member of the university. The unity on campus is highlighted heavily on game days. Those moments when the students are cheering on one of our phenomenal sports teams is where we shine, and we have recognition from various sportscasters about how loud we can be. When it comes to sports, our baseball and basketball teams are our pride and joy! Additionally, tech has a great golf, tennis, and women's soccer program if those sports are more exciting to a student. Back on campus, the food options are seemingly limitless. We have a donut shop for the early riser, a salad bar shop for those looking for the healthier option, and the ever faithful Chick-fil-A among so many other great options. There are even convenient stores in some of the school buildings to stop by if you are passing quickly in between classes. The facilities themselves are quite nice as well. It might seem difficult to navigate them, but the signage inside makes it easy to get to classes and offices in a timely fashion. When it comes to aesthetics, each building is different, but the overall look is a modernized interior with a classic exterior that shows the wonderful heritage of the university and Lubbock itself. Lubbock is also a great environment for the college community with a multitude of things to occupy a student's time when they are not studying. These activities include an abundant amount of restaurants, peaceful coffee shops, a thrilling nightlife for the clubgoers, and budding art scene for the creative individual. Now we are definitely not without imperfections. There is a strong need for better parking areas for students and a better student-parking services relationship, but ultimately Texas Tech University is an amazing place and experience for a potential student. The faculty and staff are top-notch, the sports are fantastic, and the diverse student body is even better. Wreck'em Red Raiders.

Texas Tech is a large school with a beautiful campus located deep in West Texas in the small city of Lubbock. Due to it’s isolated location, you won’t travel for weekend activities as Lubbock is distant from other cities not named Amarillo. Because of this, you’ll find your downtime spent either within the city limits of Lubbock or on the Texas Tech campus. This results in a terrific student life with plenty to do on campus with a wonderful school spirit as Lubbock residents are typically die hard Tech fans. Our athletic teams and academics while not elite are still well above average.

At first I wasn't sure about attending this school but I am so glad I did. Everyone is so friendly that its almost impossible not to make friends. In addition they have really good academic programs that have great job placement upon graduation. This university has opened me up to so many great opportunities and I would be worse off if I had attended elsewhere. I am lucky to say that this school has already gotten me a job offer at a major accounting firm 3 years before graduating, I cannot guarantee that would've happened somewhere else.

The community at Texas Tech is amazing. The students here are very respectful, I have never really experienced much negativity here. They are respectful, fun, and reliable. We are almost always willing to help one another, grow from one other's experiences. Texas Tech has played a vital role in my development as an engineer and a person in general!

What is your overall opinion of this school?

If I could get a do over in life I would be spend more time with my sister and brother because we are 10 years apart and I feel like we missed a lot of bonding time just due to the fact of our age differences. I would want to spend more time with them learning what they did in school so that it could help me through my years of school and draw me closer to them. I would be able to hear their experiences and learn from what they did and save myself some grieve and heartache. By spending more time with my older siblings, I could gain their perspective in life and visualize what they went through in their life and apply it to my life. In a sense, I think this would have made me a more rounded individual. We share inherited traits from our parents, leadership, accountability and integrity, and we went to the same schools, however our views are somewhat difference and it is due to the time we were born in .

What is your overall opinion of this school?

Texas Tech University has a lot of school spirit. It's a great place to go to learn and really be a part of an intertwined campus and small town community. Everyone is really nice and it feels like home away from home. It's full of good people who care and are passionate about learning and helping students learn. Sure, there are those few people that aren't gonna be your favorite people, but overall, it's a place of opportunity, learning, and friendship. It's a great place to learn and grow as a person! 100% I would recommend!
