What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year at The Boston Conservatory?

I wish I had known the level of preparedness that was expected. When I got to the school, most other students had a repertoire list of about 20 songs or more. I came to the school with only 5 songs in my repertoire that I could perform from memory. If I had known that most other students were that much more prepared and had that much more experience, I would have learned more songs in order to catch up and not be behind everyone else before coming to school in the fall.

The tuition price. I cant afford to be at The Boston Conservatory even though I have a scholarship, so my parents have had to make sacrifices for me to be here.
