The College of Idaho Top Questions

It is a liberal arts school and so some of the course material can be shocking for the more conservative students. Additionally, as a freshman they ask you to complete one major and three minorwhich does provide a very broad and interesting education, but the scheduling can be difficult to work out. Additionally a small school means not a lot of class selection.

Stress

The worst thing about the College of Idaho is the lack of a variety of majors. Though this is a liberal arts college, the choices for majors are limited. There are a large variety of minors, but the specializations offered are less. This is great for a lot of people who know their intended major if it is offered, however, if you are undecided, it definitely limits your options as compared to a larger state university. With that being said, I think that of the many aspects of this college, the only thing lacking is variety in majors.

The worst thing about my school is that it doesn't offer very many specialized majors. I have to transfer to a different school because my school does not have my intended field of study. The majors that are offered are broad and are intended to be used as a background major for other more specified majors such as nursing. Students must complete four years here before going into what they really would like to do rather than completing four years withing a specialized program.

The worst thing about this school is its location, Caldwell, Idaho, which isn't the worst city ever, but it is no diamond in the rough.

I would have to say the food in the cafeteria. The menu is very bland and not at all like home cooking. I would like to see more variety added to the menu. It also seems that the items are very high in fat and sodium.

There isn't enough publicity about the school to attract more prospective students.

I consider the worst thing about this school to be the lack of hands-on work in classes.

I suppose that the worst thing about my school is that it could use some more diversity in its classes that it offers.
