As a History major student I think there should be more history classes or choices of history classes. I want to study the American Indian from before the Europeans came tro America to the present. When their was a class, not enough students signed up for the class. Also, the clubs, such as, the Honors club listen to only the elected students in the program. Others in the club are taken seriously or not at all.
The resources needed are all over Maryland. I have to take classes in dundalk and essex to get the classes I want for my major.
The most frustrating thing about my school is the academic probation policy. When I first enrolled, I did not realize that I would need to drop or withdraw from a class I no longer wanted to attend. I found myself on academic probation and until i raise my GPA I must meet with an academic advisor in order to register for class.
The most exciting thing about my school is the people who attend there. I know college is about learning so you can get ahead in life. But, I feel like because I can encounter with so many different people that I already feel like I?m ahead in life. My inner soul is enriched by the people that walk the campus grounds. The stories, the culture, the stereotypes that are false and some that are true; I?m experiencing that. Now I feel like the world is my oyster because I don?t shy away from new experiencing.
There is not enough Parking for everyone.
The fact that, yes it is a community college, but i also don't have any friends here. I went to a 4 year university last year and did not like it so now I am just trying to figure out where the wind will blow me. It will definitly be in nursing, but how i will get there ( whether a 4 year school or become an RN first) I'm not sure.
