Some one who does not care about art should not go to the school. As long as they have a passion for some type of art they will fit in.
Someone that is strict and has no sence of humor. This is a fun school for fun people.
Someone who wants a big campus. This school is small, but that's part of what makes it great. If you're looking for a place where you'll blend into a crowd, I wouldn't suggest going here. Class sizes are around 15-20 kids - this includes lecture classes! If you're not willing to do the work, I also wouldn't suggest coming here. This school is accelerated so that you get your degree in 3 years instead of 4 and trust me, it's tough, but not impossible.
If you have no self-confidence, forget it. If you don't have the drive to complete everything with your greatest ability, you're not going to make it. If you can't handle constructive criticism, good luck. If you can't open your mind to new, freshly creative ideas (thinking outside of "the box"), it's probably not the school for you. If you're not professional, you won't be seen in any other way. Most importantly, if you don't share a passion for your creations, you probably shouldn't attend the Illinois Institute of Art-Schaumburg.
Anyone isn't prepared to work hard and do their best.
