The Illinois Institute of Art-Schaumburg Top Questions

What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?

That the campus-based housing is terrible.

Just because it's small, doesn't mean it's bad. I went to a small highschool, so this school was a nice way of easing into the college experience instead of being overwhelmed and scared. College can be a scary experience for someone who doesn't know what to expect. When you're eased into it, it makes life much less intimidating. I'm also seriously looking forward to getting out of school a year earlier than most other students my age. It'll be great to get a position in the work force a year ahead!

I wish I knew that I was going to love this school more than I already thought I was going to love it.

I wish I had known what a wonderful fit classes would be here at the Illinois Institute of Art in Schaumburg. I've revisisted the idea of going back to school since I left Illinois State University back in 1984 if someone was there to explain the investment in education was a nessesary dept like a home or a car. I was and still am concerned about paying for school when it's all done but so far I feel this second chance at an education is an investment in my future.
