Oh boy, if I could talk to 17 year old Genenne just graduating high school the advice would be life changing. Genenne, dont bury yourself in debt. The education that you receive from a city college is equivalent, if not superior to that of a private university. You will be able to pay off your student loans quicker if you stay in a city college. Private universities can cost $40,000 a year. Your parents are working class people and cannot afford to help you fund your college education. And think about it, how hard is it to get good grades in school? It comes easy for you. You will be able to get scholarships from your school if you just apply yourself. Enjoy this time and take full advantage of it. You will never be able to relive these moments. Believe in you Genenne. You are more than capable of finishing any task that you start. You will be a prolific, beautiful, and educated woman one day. Now go out there into the world and make me proud. Remember, you can do it!
