Jonathan - 01/08/2020

The undergraduate school of Boyce College is the best college. They are adamant to upholding Biblical truth and to living out what the Bible says. The professors are not only teachers, but are brothers and sister in Christ from whom we can learn from. Relationships that will last a whole generation are built here because we are Christian and have the same goals in mind. This is the best college for any Christian to go to.

Maggie - 06/20/2019

This school take care of their students academically and emotionally, from the moment they begin their time at the school. The professors are incredibly smart and ask each student questions in order to get them to think, rather than just providing them the answer. They instigate thought in the students and do not stop until each students has reached their potential. Though this might not happen each and every semester, they try to help the student excel as much as they can. One of the other benefits tp the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary is their connection with their students. They attempt tp form relationships with their students in and outside the classroom. This makes them feel worthy and cared for by others, which in turn prompts the students to have the desire to work academically. This is the largest benefit that the school offers, along with it's physical attributes. These include a gorgeous campus, acceptable food, and comfortable living areas. The school is extremely helpful for any student desiring to learn in a great environment.

It is a great atmosphere to be in and the people there make sure you’re always doing good! You never really feel alone and most people are accepting. It’s an overall family friendly environment! They have amazing coffee there which is one way a lot of the students hang out and get together. Basketball games are also a good way to meet new people at this college!!

Colson - 03/26/2019

The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary promotes rich academic learning while having a faculty which is experienced but also truly cares for its students. The current number of available degrees is growing, and as a member of the basketball team, I love our sports atmosphere! We promote not only faith but honesty and excellence, pursuing friendships and dreams which will last for the rest of our lives. Also, students are incredibly devoted to the well-being of each other which can be an immense relief during trying times!

The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary FAQS

  1. What is the Acceptance Rate at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary?

The fall 2020 acceptance rate for The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary is 99%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

The first thing that I advise is that parents and students research schools together and with plenty of time to visit the campuses that they may be interested in. This gives an opportunity to meet with faculty and sit down and discuss any questions that the parents and children may have about this school. If your parents are anything like my own, it will be difficult for you to go away to school. There may be weeping and gnashing of teeth on the morning that you leave for school with your car packed. By researching schools together, this may make the student more excited about going into the new environment, and the parents will be more comfortable with letting little Peggy Sue go away to college. As for you Peggy Sue, I encourage you to experience new things. Dont be afraid to live your life. Face it, you will make mistakes, but dont be so blnded by them that you neglect learning from them. Cherish your time and and dont let opportunity slip out of your grasp. Make good friendships. My college friends are people I trust with my life, and are like family. Most importantly, HAVE FUN!

What makes this school so unique but quite amazing is the accountability that students offer eachother through abstinense, education, and our personal walks with Christ, as well as the proffessors. Each and every student has some kind of accountability, which helps us grow stronger, and care more about our class work. There is so much maturity and growth happening in life, realationships, the gospel, and our education. So to sum it up, the people here care a lot about eachother.

  7. What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

I would love to see more diversity at our school. most of the people who are in my classes look just like I do. They are all white and that offers little difference of opinion or culture. I think you learn more in a given situation when you are surrounded by people who have a different past and a different story. It is great to see different worlds come together and work together for a common goal, and I feel like that doesn' t always happen

  11. What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?

Our professors at Southern are some of the most qualified and engaging teachers I've ever had. They have all had ministry experience and so can bring practical considerations to the classroom lectures while still keeping it intellectually rigorous. Many serve as pastors and some have spent decades church-planting overseas. The profs at our school are theologians and yet still down to earth, all while writing the books that students and profs at other ministry schools are reading.
