I love The University of Findlay for the small class sizes, with unique hands on experiences and great faculty members who are dedicated to helping you succeed. I have met nothing but nice people every step of the way. They work hard to keep you on track, encourage and help you find internships and offer a variety of on campus jobs to help you pay for your schooling.

I love the University of Findlay. I toured the campus when my older brother was looking for colleges and instantly fell in love and knew this was where I wanted to go. The campus is small but beautiful and well taken care of. The people here are so welcoming and friendly and the faculty want students to succeed. UF has some exceptional programs to offer including a fantastic pharmacy program, pre-vet, business, PT/OT, and more! The small class size is ideal because professors and students can get to know one another and it makes an environment suitable to learn in. Professors are always available outside of class. The town of Findlay is wonderful and has so much to do including bowling, ice skating, plenty of restaurants, and more. It is a safe and wonderful place to be and I would recommend touring the school to anyone.

UF is a small private university that appeals to students that don’t want to disappear in a large school. I knew each of my professors well enough that I felt comfortable going to their office hours to get extra help when I didn’t understand or just wanted to improve. Each time I went to their offices, I felt heard and they knew who I was. Although, I graduated 4 years ago, my academic advisor still stays up to date with me and checks on my life achievements and progression. I loved the houses they have on campus to live in as a student instead of ONLY dormitories. It seems that UF is constantly looking for new innovations to improve programs. At least 2 new buildings in the last 8 years! It was also great that I could ride my bike through campus but still was permitted to have a vehicle as a freshman. I always felt very safe on campus as there is not a lot of pedestrian foot traffic, security can usually be seen, and there were keys required to enter dormitories. If you call the office, security will even pick you up and take you to another location on campus if you don’t feel safe! Though it doesn’t happen often, UF will send out updates to the student and staff community about any weather or security threats in the area, even if it is not directly on campus.

I double majored in law and western equestrian studies. As much as I loved the barn atmosphere at first and being able to bing my horse with me, the barn being part of my academics wasn't for me. Our grades weren't fair, they were based solely on our ability and who the trainers favored, rather than the time and effort we put in. I was at the barn for, on average, 8 hours a day every single day, even most weekends, but I still ended up with a low B. There were girls that skipped class all of the time, didn't pay attention during instructional time, and still managed to pull off better grades than us who worked hard. On campus, my law major went very smoothly but it was too expensive to stay just for a major I could complete at home. I attended primarily for the equine studies program and unfortunately left a semester later in debt, heartbroken, and feeling utterly defeated with nothing to show for it all.

It is an amazing college. There may not be many things to do on or around campus, there are a ton of amazing places to eat. The campus is small and easy to get around and feels very safe. The professors are obviously knowledgeable and are very easily accessed through email and office hours. There are a wide variety of clubs and organizations and there are always activities being held to go to and have fun and get free gifts. The food on campus is amazing.

Good private christian college. It strives for excellence and takes great care of its students. Go OILERS! The Advisers are knowledgeable regarding course scheduling and the instructors usually give clear instructions for assignments. Tests are designed to engender critical thinking. It would be better if their financial aid program included assistance for online graduate students. The cost is substantial but not the most expensive and the fees are hefty in my opinion but I am thoroughly enjoying my courses.

I think the University of Finldya is a great option if you’re looking for a univeristy with small class sizes. There are opportunities for all kinds of people, and most professors are very easily accessible through office hours or by email. I almost always feel as though my professors want to help me to move forward and get better and are very encouraging when it comes to my future.

I really like the school. I have visited the school several times now and have decided it is where I want to further my education. I love their equestrian facilities and program. I visited Lake Erie College and I just did not like the school as much as Findlay. I prefer the majors that Findlay offers over Lake Erie. As well as the curriculum they offer for the classes.
