The type of person that should not attend UT Tyler is someone that is not open to different personalities and needs to dress nice. At UT Tyler, the student body is composed of a variety of personalities. If the prospective student cannot interact well with people different from what they are accustomed to, the should not attend UT Tyler. The university is a school full of great personalties that are not as up to date on the latest "cool thing." The school and town are small, but it is the people that make the experience fun.

Any one willing to succeed in life and do well in school schould attend this school. No matter your race or religion, everyone is welcome here. Positive people are easier to be around and will encourage other people to do well in school.

If you don't like great, helpful people....this school isn't for you :] Also, it's in a slightly rural area, but there is much more to do in Tyler than the surrounding areas.

If you think college is all about partying and having fun while barely going to class, this is not the school for you. If you are classified as a minority, and you are not comfortable with being the minority then you sholdn't go here either. If you love going to school football games this isnt the school for you because we dont have a football team.

I believe you need to have very good study habbits at our school, but even if you don't there is so much help around. whether it is from a professor, friend, roommate, or tutor. Everyone is willing to help make your experience worth while and a great one. Therefore, I believe that anyone can and should attend the university. It's a wonderful enviroment to be around.

I would suggest the University of Texas Tyler for anyone, even if it means they are only here to get their basics done. It's a beautiful campus and a wonderful school, with professors who really care and take time out for their students. Of course I would not suggest this school for someone who is not dedicated to their school work and simply desire to slighlty get by.

People that aren't down to earth shouldn't attend UT Tyler. If you think you're better than everyone else, don't come here. If you're not willing to work with your classmates, not agianst, then don't come.

A person who should not attend this school is one who is not willing to work for a better grade. People with bad attitudes and drama creating tendies are highly advised to move along to another school. Even though the people here are socially active and enjoy having a good time, they are still serious about their education.

If you are looking for a football team, you wont find it here.

Someone who doesn't want to study, freshman classes will weed a lot out if they get the tough professors
