Students who are highly intelligent and hope to learn top-notch information from brilliant professors should not attend this school. TRCC teaches the basics to low- to average-intelligence students who are pursuing technical or health-care Associate degrees. A number of highly intelligent students who must fulfill prerequisites to enter programs at other schools also attend classes at TRCC, but most (or all) of them are frustrated at the mediocrity of the material or shortcomings of the professors' abilities to demand more from the students. Personally, I feel that the majority of my courses here have been a waste.
If you are a person who is looking to get away from home and have the "dorm" lifestyle and /or join a fraternity or sorority then you wouldn't enjoy Three Rivers. If you also are looking for the partying aspect of college then the school isn't for you.
