Parrish

The most popular things seem to be the sororities and fraternities.

I've met a lot of people in three situations: Project Serve - a huge community service event before the start of the school year Floor meetings - our RA holds events for us to stay in contact Student Support Network - 50+ students divided into five groups who learn about mental health in order to help people. The stories we share knit us together as a group.

I really don't know since I'm don't live on campus.

Student groups are pretty backburner for most of the students. Friend groups are pretty centered around people met when you move into your dorm freshmen year. My friendgroup has changed around a little bit, but are for the most part people I lived with freshmen year. Things we do for fun would include fun events like I <3 Female Orgasm, something that is always crowded, or just hanging out around Towson. A Saturday night without drinking...hmm...there is the Recher Theatre where local and more known bands go to play which is in easy walking distance of campus.

Students Helping Honduras is a very popular group! Tigerfest is a tradition that occurs every year where there is a concert by a celebrity and lots of vendors, games, etc fot students. Last weekend I went out to dinner on Friday night, and went to a party on Saturday night, and studied/did work all day Sunday.

This is a difficult question because there are many popular activities and groups. The Greek life, athletics, and campus activities board (CAB) are popular among students. Last year I was a member of a sorority, an active member of Towsons Equestrian Club Team, a member of habitat for humanity, and a part of Student Occupational Therapy Associaton (SOTA). These clubs gave mr a chance to be more involved, meet new people, and volunteer on many occassions. In addition, there are so many groups on campus it is easy to find one to fit in with and even hold a leadership position.

Towson has so many opportunities to get involved. The professors and other students are persuasive in getting students involved in some club or recreational group. The groups typically meet twice a month. Sororities and Fraternities are also popular options.

When I first looked into Towson I did not think I would be playing a sport. But when I saw how competitive the clubs were, I changed my mind. Clubs at Towson are for the most part student ran but they have positive qualities such as traveling frequently and playing a full season schedule of games. If you are not interested in playing on the division team, clubs is a great second choice. If you want a lighter competition, intramerals are fun as well! I play club soccer and it has been a blast traveling to Arizona for nationals and San Diego for a tournament. By raising money through fundraisers and Towson giving these sports some money, we were able to get our trip paid for! On campus some students leave their room open, but it depends on which building you are in. Some do more than others. Sports events are mainly the biggest student involved event. It's fun, crowded and enjoyable. If you are interested in fraternities or sororities, Towson has great programs where one can feel they fit in. So many different ones are involved on campus and I don't know one person who has joined and did not enjoy their "brothers or sisters". These groups get together a lot and it's a fun way to meet different people.

Even though I'm not a part of Towson's greek life! I think that the majority of Towson's student body is involved in either fraternities/soroities.

There are alot of sporting events to attend at Towson and they all usually have a good turn out. the one thing i would complain about in the dorms is that students don't leave there doors open for the most part. but this just means that you have to be proactive about going and meeting the people in your dorm and don't worry the other students in your dorm will be happy that you did. there are plenty of things to do all over campus and every year we have big events homecoming and tigerfest. these are both really fun events with great bands.

The most popular student activities on campus is Greek Life, but there are also various other clubs and groups that many can join.

Terrible social life. If you do want to have a good social life, have fun spending tons of money on a cab to get to the apartments where the parties are. Then, have even more fun spending 15$ for just getting into the party. It is pathetic. Also, everyone goes home on the weekends so it is very quiet.
