The best thing about Trevecca Nazarene University is the family type atmosphere on campus. The President, Dr. Daniel Boone, knows each student by name and makes himself highly accessible to every student on the campus. The professors are truly committed to ensure the academic success of their students. In fact, I have received one-on-one tutoring from one of my professors on mulitple occasions. At Trevecca, students are more than a number or a face in the crowd. Each student is encouraged to embrace their individuality and encouraged to thrive in their uniqueness.
I felt what was best about my college career was the spiritual growth that was gained. Even though I wasn't a Nazarene I felt a deep Christian connection and it helped me become from this lost person, to a person with a purpose.
The overall experience with friendly students and professors. There are many different fun activities to participate in, such as volunteering, intermeral sports, and random planned activities off campus at ice skating rinks, NHL hockey games, Coldstone iceream, etc. It is a small campus enviornment which means it is easy to get to know most of the people at the school and get involved in these different activities.
The atmosphere is very positive and the school strives to help their students succeed.
The best thing about this school is the Religious affiliation. Its good to keep God close
The education and relationship with other students and the professors. It is so much learning a way to think and forming lasting relationships with both peers and professors. School here really becomes like another home.
I love the city and the school is two minutes away from the heart of downyown Nashville. I also made great friends and there is a lot of school spirit during the basketball season.
The atmosphere that is here. The way that all the students are here to support each other and help out when someone needs it. The tightknit community that we have going on.
If you are looking for a school that is an open-minded conservative school with community outreach programs, a heart for mission, and truly great support for students, Trevecca is the place to go. As a Christian college, they don't allow many of the activities that other liberal arts programs allow, like drinking, but also because of that we have one of the safest campuses in our city, despite the location of the campus.
