Triton College is in somehow a big school. The campus police is all around the campus and they are everywhere. The professors/teachers are great and most of them are fun; they making a time in class to be fun and creative. Provide opportunities to students to attend school even if their income is not enough to pay for their tuitions, and their needs of the school stuff. I like Triton college because provide everything and their services and teachers/professors are great!!!
Triton college to me has been an interesting experience for someone right out of high school. the program I am involved with keeps me challenged and helps me find job opportunities in the field I am studing in class. the professor is a great teacher and knows how to help her students.
Although Triton is good in some ways, they have many flaws. The teachers can be rude and they won't help. Some are very unorganized as well. The financial aid office is horrible. They do not keep track of anything. Had to call several times about documents I turned in weeks prior. If this is the closest college for you and it is financially easier for you to go to this school then go here, but if you are able to go somewhere else, do it.
My overall opinion of Triton College is that not only have I gotten some of the best education there, but I have also gotten the chance to connect well with the professors, and make some friends that I know will continue being friends with. To speak briefly on my education, my first year of college, I went to a private, catholic university where I did not feel comfortable, for the education was not their biggest strength. Being that Triton College is a community college; I will say that their school, campus, sports, teachers, and students all have the same goal: prepare students to be successful. Every department that I have come in contact with, have been extremely helpful and willing to send me towards the right direction. One thing that really stood out to me was how nice everyone is on campus. Students will be having a conversation and other students walking would not be afraid to just sit down and engage in the conversation. Then BOOM, you just got the opportunity to make new friends that happen to have the same interest as you. My last thing that I absolutely LOVED about Triton College is their.....wait; I do not think you guys are ready for it... MOZZARELLA STICKS!!!!!! I am not kidding when I say that their mozzarella sticks are the best sticks that I have ever tried. I just adore the way that the cheese melts and stretches in your mouth after that first bite. Please try.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Triton College is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
I wish I had the courage to tell my mom I didn't want to go to culinary school. I told her when I was eleven I wanted to be a chef but by my sophmore year in high school my mind changed but I never told her I didn't want to cook any more. My first semester in college I went to Kendall College to please my mom and thinking I could just live with me being a chef, but when after my first semester I didn't like it and I told my mom I wanted to drop out and transfer to Triton College to sort out my life. I wish in high school I made my own choices and goals instead of living by eveyone else's standards and goals for me. I am applying to transfer to a four year college to major in Art Education and minor in Art History because that is what I really want to do with my life, even though I'll be in school for a few more years longer than I hoped for.
Triton college is a great place to get an affordable education.
Im fine with the information i have proir to attending the college. There was nothing substantial information that was required of me to know before attending the school.
The parking lots in the winter after a snow storm, because they are not always plowed in a timely manner and the rows for parking are not well marked so that one could see where to line up. Many times its like traveling a maze.
Some act like they are still in high school, while the rest of us take responsibilty in our work and respect our professors and the school.
My school is ethnically diverse.
I believe its a good community college to attend if your just going as an undergraduate. The one thing i can say you need to be if your attednding this school is focused. If your not completely focused and committed on get the best grade to the best of your ablities, its pointless to attend.
I believe that my school is best known for cultural diversity. A lot, I mean, a lot of students coming from all over the world take small, but secure steps to create a better future, a better career, a better life. Also, they have a really great ADN (Associate Degree in Nursing) program, and it's a little cheaper than other schools in my area.
Any kind of people should attend, but especially nice people :) I would definitely say this is a college where you have to like immigrants, Europeans and all kinds of people.
How much money I am saving and how great the teachers are.
It is frustrating when student services tell me to go to one room, that does not even exist, to pick up my transcript when in the end my transcript was in student services the whole time.
