Trocaire is a nice college if you are looking to get in and out of school. I would highly recommend this to a person who is going back to school or not into the college life for example, Living on campus, partying, extracurricular activities although there is some, etc.

janelle

I loved attending this college, if i did not have to move due to my husband being in the military, I would still be attending!

Sevana

Trocaire is a very career oriented college. It sets out to help prepare you for whatever field you are going into. I like it because the class sizes are small and the professors are great. You learn a great deal of information in a very short amount of time but it really helps.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

When I graduated from highschool I was not even thinking about college. All I wanted to do was go out and have fun with my friends. I am 29 years old now and I am almost finished with my Registered Nursing degree. If I knew what life would be like without a college degree when I graduated highschool I would of went straight to college. I would tell myself that it is only a couple more years of school compared to the rest of your life struggling to make ends meet. I would also tell myself that my friends, if they are my true friends, they would be there for me no matter what, even if I didn't go out and party with them all of the time because of school.

  3. What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?

I wish i would have known that it doesnt take much for you to a student to slip off track. Also that if you earn a high GPA that you must work just as hard to keep it up. College is nothing like high school; including the people all the way down to the homework. Keeping an easy schedule can take a lot of stress off your shoulders when your in college. I also wish i would have known that time to yourself can increase your study time, which is always a bonus.

The best thing about Trocaire is that the classes are small. There is a very low ratio of students to teachers, therefore there is more one on one with the students and teachers. The teachers actually get to know all the names of their students. Also the teachers are always willing to help out with whatever they can.
