The people at this school are the kind you admire; the pull-yourself-up-by-your-bootstraps kind of people you hope to meet and wish to make your friends. The late but arromatic bloomers that might not rule the world but are doing their best to make it a better place.
If a student already know what they want to do and prefer TMCC over UNR should choose this school. For example we have a good Nursing Program and the closest Radiology Technology Program to the Reno-Sparks area. Also going to TMCC will save money when doing the pre-reqs before switching to UNR.
Anyone and everyone can attend Truckee Meadows Community College as long as they are driven, responsible, and serious about school and their school work.
A self-motivated individual should attend this school. This individual should also take advantage of the many resources.
People can attend Truckee meadows because it is a respectable campus. People here are friendly, they want others to succeed. I love this college. Compared to other larger campuses Truckee Meadows main campus is small but large enough that it stands out. The reason why I attend this college is to save money when compared to some other colleges.
From what I have seen from this school and the people that I have spoke with, this school is great for anyone, especially someone starting out all over again. The staff is helpful, and my friends that I have attending TMCC, love it.
The persom that would attend school is one that has ambition and belives in acheiving a goal.
This school is great for anyone. There are three different campuses around town, making it easy to find a location that works for anyone. There are also many options for when you can attend class. They have classes all day long, evening classes, and online classes. Truckee Meadows is great for anyone on a budget, the tuition and books are much cheaper. The greatest thing about TMCC is that you can earn your associates or take your prerequisites, then move on to complete your degree at the UNR.
From first-time students to senior citizens, there really is something here for everyone. This school has such a wide variety of classes that it can be an excellent introduction to college-level courses, especially for those students who don't know what career path to pursue. We also have a large number of students who already hold degrees and have decided to change careers. The type of person who should attend this school needs only to have the diligence to succeed and the willingness to learn from their professors and other students.
The type of person who should attend this school, or any school for that matter, are students that are willing to learn, study, and go after the goals of what they want to be in life. Students need to set a goal, and make that goal be an acomplishment.
TMCC is a great school, same classes as a 4 yr. college although the cost is less, classes are smaller. It's a great first time school for someone who wants the college experience, but is intimidated by the thought of attending a larger college.
