Since it is a small college, the student to professor ratio is around 15 to 1 which makes the educational experience more intimate and profound. As a student of this college, it makes the learning experience more enjoyable when I can connect with the professor on the same level. They have a professor from Havard who makes biology fascinating to an English major.
My school is smaller than most high schools. it has a higher teacher to student ratio, which means that a student can get more one on one tim with a teacher than at a normal university. This college is also unique in the fact that it is a Baptist academy focused on certain christian principles.
It is small enough so that the teachers know you by name and have class in a small classroom, not in a large auditorium. It is a great place if you want a good education from conservative Christian professors.
I love the small classrooms because it allows you to interact with the student body more as well as the teachers. The professors here are ver much involved with the campus and its students. It is great to go to a sports game and have your professor right there cheering next to you or if you need somone to talk to they are there to help and you don't get that at many colleges.
