In the winter when it starts to snow, it makes it really difficult to walk to places on campus. I wish there was an underground tunnel system from different popular places to others. There is the Joey bus which drives to three places on campus and then to Davis Square, but it is not that practical for everyday scenarios.
administrative response to racial incidents
The COLD.
Tufts is obscenely expensive.
Again the lack of universal or even 70{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} wireless internet.
The lack of confident, clear-headed, ladies. If the ladies were as confident as they were pretty I would love Tufts. There are so many interesting a unique females at Tufts it is mind-boggling. The only problem is that they don't know what they want from a guy. You have to tell them what they want. I would consider that both frustrating and bad. We need an injection of school-wide enthusiasm.
Many students don't seem to care about the bland state of the dorms on campus and are generally apathetic in trying to get around the rules of the college that regulate decoration of rooms to be rather boring.
The worst thing is that on-campus housing prodcess is a difficult.
social life not too happening, a lot of work academically
The only times I have disliked anything about my school has been when I'm dealing with administration. However, I also think that the issues that have come up are because it is a large institution with many different departments ands staff.
Lack of maintenence with some of the facilities, especially with the dorms (things are planned for the future, but they just never seem to come fast enough).
Too expensive, a lot of people who deserve this level of education and this environment are unable to afford it.
I think the worst thing is that the school can somtimes be homogenous in terms of the type of person who attends.
They're not very helpful if you're having a personal problem
Reputation as a Harvard backup. Harvard has grade inflation - Tufts doesn't.
The worst thing for me is the vast majority of liberals. I am a conservative, and I understand that many college campuses are predominantly liberal, but Tufts is much more liberal I feel than any other campus I have been on.
I'd say one of the worst things about Tufts is its lack of Division 1 sports. Other than Homecoming Day, most students don't attend sports games, so there's no real sense of school spirit. Also, there is usually a tremendous amount of homework and papers, which may be a contributing reason to the campus' deflated sense of Tufts Jumbos pride.
